Notes: Dortmund had a decent season in 2020/2021. They finished third in the Bundesliga, securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League for the following season. Erling Haaland, the young Norwegian striker, was in sensational form, scoring goals left and right. Jadon Sancho, the English winger, also had a strong season, contributing with goals and assists. In the cup competitions, Dortmund had a mixed season. In the DFB-Pokal (German Cup), they reached the quarterfinals but were unfortunately eliminated. However, in the UEFA Champions League, Dortmund had a strong run. They reached the quarterfinals, where they faced tough competition and were narrowly eliminated.
